Surrounded by Boys!

It seemed as though I was only photographing baby girls for a while…a long while. I was starting to think women were taking over this world! (which they are) ;) But then it came. I had two months straight where It was nothing but beautiful baby boys all in a row. I was so excited to put away the pink bows, and rose colored backgrounds. I gladly welcomed the pirate hats, sailor outfits and teddy bear fur!

Being that my life is surrounded by girls (my 3 daughters) it was so neat to spend two months with sweet little coos of boys.

Since I am way behind on my blogging attempts I have compiled a few shoots into one. I apologize for the lack of attention to each individual shoot on my blog as of late. Enjoy some sweet babies!

Baby Sylas

Remember when we were kids and we would sit in your room and talk about who we were going to marry and how many kids we would have? I remember us saying how we were going to get married in our best body suits and clogs! bahahahahhahaha (90's kids).

Now here we are having babies! Man that went by fast. I can't tell you Chris and Liz how honored I felt to be the one to capture these memories for you. It is so sweet to see you two as parents holding your baby and caring for him.

I am sure if someone asked you about your pumping schedule a year ago you would have looked at them like they were crazy! Now the phrase "pumping schedule" has a whole new meaning. Welcome to parenthood!

 This was kind of an out take. I was shooting baby and his buddy came up to him to make sure he was ok. So cute!

Finally A Boy!

Oh it's been a long time coming! Finally a boy has arrived! It seems like I was only photographing baby  girls but all of a sudden there has been a burst of baby boys and this little guy was first up!

I met this sweet boy's mom many years ago, before there were husbands and before there were kids. We were teachers educating the youth of America…and having a blast ;) Then one fine day the world shifted and our little group of friends got married and had babies! I shouldn't say babies I should say girls! In fact there were 6 girls in our coveted BRAT pack! I believe after my third girl came along we all kind of gave up on the notion of having boys. We all decided that Christina was our last hope of having a boy! Sure enough, she was gifted by God with a little prince. He will be one adored little dude by all of our girls. I am sure our girls will dress him up, make him play tea party, make him be the groom in their pretend weddings, and blame him for anything and everything. ;)
