The Gumina's

This photo shoot was not my typical session. No No, it was 4 adults and 5 rambunctious kids! You see, every year Heather (a fellow photographer and good friend of mine) plan a day to shoot each other's family photos. We usually have no problem picking a location but a date? Forget about it. This is the busiest time of a year and I swear it takes a month to figure out a date and time to get this shoot done! LOL But we did it! We decided on the Springs Preserve for it's beautiful cactus garden and overall abundance of picturesque backdrops.


It is comical how we shoot! We find a spot, stop, one of us grabs the camera and shoos the family over and clicks away and then we switch all while the other kids are running around. It might appear as chaos but it works for us...we like chaos! ;)

Massey Wedding

This wedding was such a special one. I have had the pleasure of growing up with the Massey family and to be able to photograph such a special day was amazing! I felt so honored to be such a big part of their lives and day.

A Colorado girl and a Vegas boy who met, fell in love and now as one they continue to do what they love...Fitness! These two are beasts for running! I thought I was a runner but these two go beyond. What a strong couple. You will go far Mr. and Mrs. Massey!

The Christmas Family!

I know I always say this but I love photographing this family. They are always so happy and fun. So for this shoot we went downtown, which always fun since its always changing. We were cruising along doing our thing and shooting away when of course we got stopped by a security guard. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal but in this case mom and the kids were changing behind a stair well into their jerseys for our next set up. AWKWARD! The security guard was checking out her very tall strapping husband. I could see his expression as if were thinking something very wrong was happening. As all of photos do we play dumb. I swear officer, I had no idea we couldn't shoot here. These are my cousins, the gate was unlocked, we will be done very soon. As he escorted us out we quickly walked away laughing under our breath to the next alley we could find. Always an adventure in this town! Thanks for being good sports Christmas Family!
